Project Instructions
- Getting Started:
Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.
- Baking:
Roll a snake of Coral clay approx. 3/4” x 4” long. Roll one snake each of Pearl, Rose Gold Glitter, and Gray Granite that are approx. 1/4” x 4” long. Press the snakes together and twist.
Fold in half and twist again. Repeat this process a few times to marble the colors together.
Roll clay into a 2 to 2 1/2” sized ball.

Shape the ball into a cube shape.
Use your clay knife and cut away the four top corners of your cube only cutting half of the way down.
Turn your cube over and repeat this on the other end. Your cube should now look like a faceted shape.
Refine the shape by pressing each flat side flatter. I like to press the flat sides down on my work surface area and rotate until the shape looks nice and clean

Cut a 3-1/2” piece of wire. Wrap one end around a Sharpie marker a couple of times to make a coil that you can slide a picture into. Bend the end of the coil at a right angle and insert into the top of your geo faceted shape.
Bake at 275 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes due to the thickness of the shape. Allow to cool.
Highlight all the edges of the facets with your Metallic Silver paint. Allow to dry.
