Project Instructions
- Getting Started:
Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.
- Baking:
For the bear head you will just need a very small amount of clay of each color. Push the clays together into a ball.
Knead the colors together so they mix a little bit
Slice off a small part big enough to make two ears
Roll the larger piece back into an oval shape and flatten it against the work surface. Shape the ears into little crescents and press them on top of the head.
Make divots in the little ears with the flat scoop tool. Poke eyes with the pointed tool.
Add little balls of Grape to the holes for eyes. Add a Hot Pink nose. Draw mouth lines with the pointed tool. Bake following the baking instructions for Eraser Clay. Overbaking will keep the clay from erasing.
