Project Instructions
Getting Started:Do not use unbaked clay on unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Start with clean hands and work surface area. Good work surfaces include wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Stir Liquid Sculpey® completely. Thin with Sculpey® Liquid Clay Softener as needed. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 degrees F (130 degrees C) for 20 minutes. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Wash hands after use. Baking should be done by an adult.Begin by preheating oven to degrees 275 degrees F (130 degrees C). Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay.
You do not need to cover all of your mold with clay. The cavities are very shallow and do not need much clay at all!
Spread it over all of the design and fill all the tiny crevasses. You can use your fingers or the squeegee tool for that. Use your squeegee tool to scrape off all the excess clay so only the design in the mold is filled. Cure the clay at 275 °F /130 °C for 15 minutes. Do this step 3 times, each time with another one of your selected colors.
When your mandala shapes have cooled completely take them out of the mold. Often they have little bits outside of the actual shape. Use your scissor to cut them off and clean the shape to get a neat look.
Now assemble your necklace with jump rings between the mandala shapes (use different shades of blue!). Add your tassel at the biggest mandala and the chain with the at the top
