Super Sculpey Ultralight™ is light enough for jewelry-making but strong enough for larger mixed media projects, home decor and cosplay creations. As the most lightweight clay offered by Sculpey®, this ultralight compound is versatile, soft and easier to work with than aluminum foil.
You can buff, drill and sand Super Sculpey Ultralight™ as well as paint it with acrylic paints. Store it for later use when you're done — it won't dry out! This clay is safe and nontoxic and remains flexible and soft until baked in your home oven. Simply work the lightweight clay into your desired shapes and then bake it to set.

SHIPPING DELIVERY:
For standard ground delivery, you can expect delivery within 6-10 business days from your order date (business days are Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays). Standard Shipping combines the capabilities of Fed Ex, UPS and USPS, delivering packages to you more efficiently. Fed Ex will deliver your package to your local post office, where your postal carrier will make the final delivery to your door or mailbox. You’ll receive an email with tracking information when your order is shipped.

Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Work ‘n Bake Clay Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately.

Clayers love to color Super Sculpey Ultralight™ by mixing it with Sculpey Premo™ or Sculpey III® clays. Our clay floats, also making it ideal for bathtub toys or floating candleholders. Super Sculpey Ultralight™ is the perfect medium for larger ornaments that won't cause tree branches to sag.
Baking Instructions and Working Properties
Bake Super Sculpey Ultralight™ at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes per 1/4-inch of thickness. We suggest using an oven thermometer to ensure your oven is at the correct temperature to avoid over-baking.
After curing, you can carve, drill, sand or paint the clay. Do not use a microwave oven for baking or use the product with a wire or hot knife. Be careful not to exceed recommended baking times, and do not allow the clay to come in contact with an open flame.
Uncured, soft Super Sculpey Ultralight™ should not be placed on varnished or painted surfaces as the clay's plasticizers will dissolve these materials. Uncured Sculpey® clay may also be affected by solvent-based paints. Do not place unbaked clay on fabric, carpeting, plastic, flooring or furniture.
A metal sheet, ceramic tile, index card, aluminum foil or the Sculpey Tools™ Oven-Safe Work Mat are all acceptable work surfaces.
