ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES
  • 5” Tiny terra cotta pot
  • 6” x 6” Aluminum foil
  • Toothpick
  • Artificial moss
  • White craft glue

Project Instructions

Step 2

Loosely crumple the foil and fill the base of the little pot with the foil to take up space under the mushroom.

Step 3

Poke the toothpick into the center of the foil. Leave at least 1/2 of the toothpick sticking up through the foil.

Step 4

From 1/4 of the large block of White Bake Shop make a thick teardrop shape.

Step 5

Push the teardrop shape down onto the toothpick so that it sits on top of the foil. This is the stem of the mushroom.

Step 6

From 1/2 bar of the Red Bake Shop, form a dome that is thick in the middle.

Step 7

Decorate the dome with flat Yellow spots.

Step 8

Add smaller flat Orange spots between the Yellow spots.

Step 9

Add flat Blue spots on top of the Yellow spots.

Step 10

Push the red spotted mushroom cap onto the top of the stem. Even if the toothpick doesn’t go up into the cap, the toothpick will still provide stability for the mushroom.
Bake the mushroom in the pot following the baking instructions for Sculpey Bake Shop.

Step 11

Allow the mushroom to cool completely before handling.
Add White craft glue around the base of the mushroom.

Step 12

Add artificial moss around the base of the mushroom and allow the glue to dry completely before handling.
