Project Instructions
- Getting Started:
Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.
- Baking:
Divide 3/8 bar of Yellow into four equal balls. Press the balls flat and score a line down the middle.
Add a little black ball head to each one.
Give each one White eyeballs, Black pupils and a red nose. Add some textured spots to the wings.
Divide 1/4 bar of Red into four equal parts. Shape these into teardrop shapes with flat bottoms. Score a line down the middle of each one
Add Black heads and big White eyeballs.
Add Black pupils to each eye.
Make four equal size balls out of 3/8 bar of Orange. Flatten the bottoms of each one. Score a line down the middle. Add Black heads, White eyeballs with different colors of pupils and Red noses.
For the worms use 1/4 bar each of Bright Green and Blue. From each 1/4 bar make six squiggly worm shapes.
Put Black eyes on the Green worms. Put White eyeballs with Black pupils on the Blue worms. Bake the bugs and worms according to the baking instructions. When they are cool you can play Ladybugs vs Worms Tic Tac Toe.
