Project Instructions
- Getting Started:
Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.
- Baking:
Shape 1/2 bar of Glow Green into an egg shape.
Stand the egg shape upright. Press it down slightly to flatten the bottom. Then use your fingertips to pull clay down in a puddle around the bottom.
Make two little horn shapes from Glow Blue. These should have one fat end and a pointed end. Press the fat end onto the side of the head. Bend the horns up.
Make a flat round White eye, and a flat round Glow Orange iris, and a Black pupil.
Layer the eye pieces onto the front of the head.
Make a long skinny Black taper for the mouth and a little Glow Orange tongue.
Press the mouth into place first.
Make a little dent above the mouth with the scoop tool, then press the tongue into the dent with the scoop tool
Bake the Monster following the baking instructions above.
After baking, expose the monster to bright light for at least 5 minutes and then when you turn all the lights off he will glow in the dark!
