- White satin cord (about 8 inches)
Project Instructions
- Getting Started:
Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.
- Baking:
Mix a little Hot Pink, White, and Blue together to make light purple. Mix some White with a little Blue to get light blue, and with a little Hot Pink to get light pink. Roll small ropes of light blue, White, light pink, Hot Pink, and light purple.
Twist the ropes together. Roll the twisted clay to smooth them together and then cut off even pieces for beads.
Roll each piece into a smaller rope and twist the rope around to mix the colors more. Then roll each piece into a ball.
Use the toothpick to pierce a hole through each bead. Be sure to make the hole wide enough to accommodate the cord after baking.
Bake the beads according to the Basic Instructions. Once cooled, string your beads onto the satin cord to assemble your new bracelet!
