By now I’m sure you have all seen the announcement from Pantone about their pick for 2025 Color of the Year – Mocha Mousse. Well of course my brain just says “Challenge accepted!” (although it also makes me want a coffee!)
Since we are just out of the holiday season I thought that it would be fun to use the leftover seasonal colors of red, green and white for this mix. (Okay, Pomegranate, Green and White). The mix was pretty straight forward 1 part Pomegranate, 1 part White and 2 parts Green (photo on left). The lovely part about this Color of the Year is that you can tweak it to your liking – want it a little warmer? Add a tiny bit of Ecru. Want it glistening? Use half the White and add 1 part Pearl (the circle on right)
This color is fabulous on its own (you can use either gold or silver findings!) or team it with your favorite colors- I used a little Pale Blue, Pearl and Blush for the top element of the earrings. I think it would great with just Black and White! And (of course) I think everything goes with Premo™ 18k Gold!
