The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I'm mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.
Sculpey Premo™ Vintage Teal Pearl is destined to be a major player on my clay table for sure! Who wouldn’t love a classic Teal color with flashes of Copper mixed into the clay? And unless my eyes deceive me, I *think* there is also some Gold sparkling in there in well!
I teamed the Vintage Teal Pearl with a bold classic Premo Red to see what would evolve. How about a wine tone with sparkles that almost hint of bubbles? YES, please!
Next, I teamed it with one of my favorites, Bright Green Pearl. The 1:1 result was a gorgeous deep, almost forest green tone with sparkles like the sun glinting through the forest leaves.
I was super surprised and happy to see that the 1:1 mix with classic Premo Gold Pearl yielded a rich, warm antique gold tone! I DO love me some antique gold tones…
The Vintage Teal Pearl/ Pale Blue 1:1 mix was another WHOA! for me. The Pale Blue really made the pearl tones really stand out in a slightly deeper light blue that would be absolutely gorgeous in a bracelet. Ohh, good idea syn, let’s go make that…
I used my “3 Minute Moku” technique to team all the leftover mix colors with the Vintage Teal Pearl to create the earrings. LOOK at all the sparkle! The top portion of the earrings is just the Vintage Teal Pearl – stunning all on its own!
