The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I'm mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.
Sculpey Premo™ Carnation is a lovely Spring/Summer color on its own, but I still wanted to see what power it would have in mixes. It certainly had wonderful color-mix chemistry with the Cad Yellow, Alizarin Crimson and Ultramarine Blue- yielding softer versions of these colors. I was super surprised that it had almost no effect on the Graphite Pearl, other than to disperse the mica a little bit more. All in all, this is now a shy color by any means - never take a color for granted on first impression!
Since I love me some moody Mokume Gane, these colors and color mixes were perfect to create these statement earrings. I used the Cad Yellow and Alizarin Crimson 1:1 mixes with a layer of Graphite Pearl for my layers.
