New Color Tuesday! Introducing Sculpey Soufflé™ Ballet

The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I'm mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color. Don't mistake this new Sculpey Soufflé™ as a "lightweight" color - it can pack a pretty powerful punch in your mixes, as well as stand on its own as a cool pastel. I love the two golden tones created by the 1:1 mixes with Pistachio and Yellow Ochre. In fact I nicknames these 2 mixes- the Pistachio 1:1 mix I call Summer Wheat and the Yellow Ochre 1:1 mix I call Late Afternoon Sunshine. Okay, so let me nickname the other two mixes - how about Afternoon Shadow for the Cornflower 1:1 mix and Coastal Fog for the Robins Egg 1:1 mix? I used the mix scraps to create these sweet lil earrings, backed on Soufflé™ Ivory and Sedona. Share your favorite Sculpey mixes with us by using the hashtag #HowDoYouSculpey and don’t forget to mention which clay you are using (#Premo or #Souffle)  xoxo, syn
