Finished Santa is approximately 2-1/2" tall.

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start with clean hands and work area. Work on a glass or metal surface, disposable foil or wax paper. Do not use uncured clay on unprotected furniture or finished surfaces.
2. Knead clay for 2 minutes before making project.
3. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 130° C (275° F for U.S. Consumers) for 15 minutes per 6mm (¼") of thickness. Baking should be done by an adult. Do not microwave. Do not over bake. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
4. Wash hands after use.
Directions:
1. Roll small Beige pear shape for head. Indent eye holes with pointed end of modeling tool. Roll 2 tiny Black balls for eyes and press into holes. Roll small White bean shape and press flat. Press to face for beard. Roll 2 small White teardrops and flatten slightly. Press pieces over top of beard for mustache. Roll tiny Red oval for nose and press to center of mustache. Roll 2 small Beige teardrop shapes for hands. Flatten hands slightly and score 3 finger lines into each one. Set hands aside.
2. Roll medium-sized Red ball for body. Press ball down on work surface to slightly flatten bottom. Roll thin White log and press flat. Press clay strip down center front of body and trim excess with modeling tool. Roll skinny Black log and press flat. Wrap clay strip around body for belt and trim excess. Press small amount of Yellow clay flat and use modeling tool to cut a small, square buckle. Indent center with modeling tool or toothpick. Press buckle to front of belt.
3. Roll 2 Red tapered logs for arms and 2 Black tapered logs for boots. With your thumb, gently press upwards on wider end of each piece to flatten slightly. Roll thin White log and press flat. Wrap clay strip around end of one arm and trim excess. Repeat for other arm. Roll 2 small Black ovals and press flat. Stick ovals to bottoms of boots for soles. Score a line in bottom of each sole to create heels. Press head, boots and arms to body.
4. Shape 1 small Green cube and 1 small Red cube for packages. Roll skinny Red and Green ropes and press flat for ribbons. Wrap ribbons around opposite-color packages. Trim excess with modeling tool. Roll 2 tiny teardrops of each color and a tiny oval. Press pieces to matching ribbons to make bows. Stack packages in front of Santa on right side. Press hands to ends of arms, with right hand resting on top of packages.
5. Roll a tall Red cone. Bend top of cone to one side to make hat shape. Roll a White log and press it flat. Wrap clay around bottom of hat. Roll a medium-sized White ball and press it to tip of hat. Roll 2 skinny White ropes and twist together for trim. Wrap trim around bottom of hat and trim excess. Gently press hat to Santa's head.
6. Bake clay according to Basic Instructions. Let clay cool completely.
